Platform building Eindhoven under construction
Just before the 2013 Christmas holidays, the construction of the platform building on platform 2 of Eindhoven Railway Station started. As with many projects in existing buildings, today’s site visit offered lots of surprises. The original wooden ceilings turned out to the largely intact under the coat of white paint and can be restored. For the copper and aluminium metalwork, an expert will be employed.
